Colorado Springs Fashion Week, a prestigious event celebrating the fusion of art, creativity, and style, made its debut in July 2023 with a bang. Amidst a multitude of talented fashion designers, Wreck'd Collective had the honor of being a part of this groundbreaking event. For us, it was a dream come true, and we couldn't be more excited to share our experience with all of you.
From the moment we received the invitation to participate, we knew this was a golden opportunity. With less than a month notice, we put in the work to curate 20 stunning looks that would grace the runway during the event. Each piece carried a piece of our passion and creativity, a reflection of our brand's identity.
Colorado Springs Fashion Week was much more than just showcasing our designs. It was an opportunity to connect with incredible people, forging new friendships and collaborations that will undoubtedly shape our journey ahead. The camaraderie between designers, production teams, models, and hair and makeup artists was inspiring. The shared enthusiasm for fashion and art was palpable, creating an electric atmosphere that fueled our passion even further.
The runway show was a whirlwind of emotions. As our models slayed our looks down the runway, adorned in our creations, we couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with pride and excitement. The audience's applause and cheers were music to our ears, validating our efforts and making all the hard work worth it.
The exposure that has come with the event has gone beyond our expectations. Thanks to Colorado Springs Fashion Week's incredible reach, our business got featured on Loving Living Local COS, a renowned platform that amplifies local talent.
As the curtains closed on this memorable event, our minds were already buzzing with ideas for the next show. The experience had ignited a fire within us to push our creativity even further, to break boundaries, and to create something even more extraordinary for the next chapter.
We are grateful beyond words for this amazing opportunity, the wonderful people we met, and the invaluable experience we gained. Our hearts are filled with gratitude to Colorado Springs Fashion Week for making our dreams come true and for providing a platform that celebrates the artistry and talent of everyone involved.
